Dinosaur Zoo App Reviews

I found the app to be a bit disappointing. It gets old very quick and takes a long time to load. And there is some untrue info in it. Like it calls ornithocheirus a dinosaur, when it is in fact a pterosaur. And says birds evolved from tryrannosaurids. Birds did come from dinosaurs, but not tryrannosaurids. Also it says the femur (thigh bone)is in the front leg when it is located in the hind leg. I would not recommend this app.

Its crashed a couple times now

Please add pronunciation sound or at the very least a pronunciation key..kids might as well learn the names correctly.

Needs more dinosaur and responsive controls.

I was disappointed that it didnt read the dino information. My 4 year old could only look at dino pics and see how they moved, unless I was with him to read it.

This new dino pack isnt coming is it... Ive been waiting to this day.

What a waste of money! It only comes with a few Dinos, and you have to buy the rest. The graphics are crap

Ever since the iOS update the app is not working properly. The backgrounds are small and offset.

Apart from inaccurate classifications and descriptions of animals, the app does not display correctly on any device except my iPhone. It was intended for a 4 year olds iPad and the background graphic is limited to only 25% of the screen making it look ridiculous, amateur, and still in developmental stage. This anomaly is consistent with iPad 3rd gen, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2. What a waste of $2. My four year old said this app is "stupid". Its the first time weve ever heard him say that word. We agree with him.

Very positive it is compatible with Ipad first generation running IOS 5.11. My niece loves this program, she could learn all functions in 5 minutes, so very easy to use. Id like to find similar program with modern animals, im sure she would enjoy even more.

I was sorry to see the poor reviews this App received from a few people. I purchased the game a couple of years ago for my grandkids and even though I am not an "expert" on Dinos I just know how many hours of entertainment they have received while looking at it. As far as one reviewer saying it only covers a small part of the screen, Andrew Kerr, has assured me this was an Apple update problem and they are expecting the problem to be fixed any day now. When I wrote to the company when I noticed my app messing up, I was pleased to see what a quick response I received.

This app is lots of fun and features masterful animations of dinosaurs. It is perfect for my 3-5 year olds and is captivating to make the creatures move and find out some of the apps secrets. If you tap a screen many times, you can get quite a response from these creatures! Yes, there are some factual errors, but the app is 95% correct and accurate. Its a beautiful visual and auditory experience, and I hope the developer continues with future additions to the app.

If you like animals like me youll think its a cool game.the only thing I hate about it is theres boxes in it and they say coming soon that pisses me off so its alright

I bought this for my 4 year old, thinking it was educational and interesting. But it only has limited info and a few dinosaurs. As a free app I would expect that, or at least the ability to buy different packs of Dinosaurs. But as an app I paid for? Terrible!!! Dont waste your money, even if its just $2.

I have tried a lot of the dino apps, but this is by far the best. Not only are the dinosaurs 3D, theyre also completely interactive. My kids are constantly playing it and love all of them (the saurapod dinosaur especially). As for the reviewer who said there were only a few dinosaurs, you have to click on the store feature to download the additional dinopacks, where are absolutely free. My only recommendation would be to add an audio feature that pronounces the names of the dinosaurs when you click on the name. I would actually like to teach them how to pronounce them without having to go root around for a dictionary. Other than that, this one is great! And well worth the money.

Its the best dinosaur zoo app yet. They are the most realistic dinosaurs Ive seen so far and its educational as well. I have two requests, though. Can you please make it possible to explore the park in 3D, or improve the map? I love the map a lot. Its just that it would blend in more if it looked as realistic as the dinosaurs. If you make the dinosaur zoo in 3D, it could either be a futuristic, natural park like the one in Jurassic World, or just a simple, modern 3D zoo like the one you have now. Also, it would seem more realistic if there were other animals from that period like the small mammals, and or plants. Its optional and goes against the name, but the dinosaurs and or other resurrected life forms would probably not have a park of their own. They might end up being added to the current animal zoo that we already have in real life. Thanks if you at least consider my requests, and keep up the awesome work!

This app is incredibly stupid, you cant do Anything but look at the dinosaurs and get a fact. Wikipedia gives more facts and for free, I will be seeking reimbursement for this waste of money.

I think that in the next update they should do these three things 1 it crashes soooo much 2 I want them to make the living skeletons real dinosaurs 3 I want the little map thing to be in 3D
